Single mechanical seals
Application
In pumps and installations, which are pumping over chemically neutral and nontoxic liquids.
Single face seals (YT) are used at working medium temperatures up to 200°C; single face seals with a cooling unit (YTX) are used at working medium temperatures up to 250°C.
Modifications
- With springs located inside of pumped product (sealed with medium).
- With springs located outside of pumped product. Used in cases, if there is a risk for the holes and springs to be blocked with abrasive particles and segments.
- With cooling unit and without it.
Features
- Seals may be placed both inside and outside a seal chamber through an adapter flange (if a chamber is too small).
- It is possible to reduce temperatures in rubber gaskets areas to achieve favourable temperature conditions.
- Possible usage of various cooling fluids: industrial water, antifreeze, diesel oil, etc.
- A provision is given for a connecting pipe installation to ensure air exhaust and medium supply to the seal chamber cavity.
